Jan – Mar 2023 Fishing Report

The reef fishing was great all the way thru March in 2023.  The yellowtail snapper were very active and hungry.  We only had a few days when they were not cooperating. The predators like sharks, barracudas, jacks and mackerel were anxious to chase the baits.  Trolling this year has not been the greatest but at the end of march we saw the action pick up a bit.  Oddly enough we even landed a few nice mahi in shallow water which is extremely rare. The reefs in spring and summer are usually on fire and the Mahi start to roll in in May or June so let’s see what the future brings. The best part is we always have fun and always catch fish.  Call today to reserve your spot.

Key West Fishing Report Aug 2022

The reef bite was really strange this month. The weather was beautiful and the seas were calm. This year the currents were a bit different this summer but we were still able to get the fish biting. The snapper bite was good and we even had enough luck to pull up some nice black groupers. I think September will bring some great reef action. Get down here and let’s catch some fish.

Yellowtail snapper bite was Crazy in April!

The yellowtail snapper bite was crcrcrcrazy the month of April. The snappers were biting like they haven’t eaten in months, which is great of course.

The predators like sharks, barracudas, jacks and mackerels were also excited to devour our live and dead baits. They didn’t care what was on the hook they just wanted a piece of it.

These of course are great problems to have and hope they continue. Mahi should be showing up soon and grouper season opens May 1st.
